German: Bavarian Coffee

Ingredients:
- ½ ounce peppermint schnapps
- ½ ounce coffee liqueur (Ex: Kahlua or Tia Maria’s)
- ½ cup strong brewed coffee
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1 ounce half-and-half
- Whipped cream
- Chocolate shavings (for garnish)
Procedure:
- Pour schnapps and coffee liqueur in bottom of heat resistant coffee mug
- Add hot coffee and sugar, stir until sugar is dissolved
- Stir in half-and-half
- Top with a dollop of whipped cream
- Garnish with chocolate shavings
Note:
- Remove schnapps and coffee liqueur and sub ~¼ teaspoon of peppermint extract for a lower alcohol version.
